• A Thanksgiving day to remember

• My family had the most amazing day. Spending time with the Hillwig family, then my Davis'. Phoenix is in our full custody so we didnt have to give him up for one second of the day! Corbyn strolled around from room to room on her own, exibhiting her independence. We ate tons of delicious, comforting food and spent great relaxing time with the ones we love! No nonsense, no baby mama drama! Everything I could have dreamed of and more! Now to enjoy my Left overs!

• A Model on hold:
• Since I was 16 years old, I have been a model. Shooting, walking runways, being published, managing promotions and hosting trade shows.. I Lived the life of an independent contractor. I was raised by entrepineurs and I knew it was the life for me. I did what I wanted, when I wanted, and always had the cash to do so.  At a young age, I met the love of my life . Our attraction was instant and out love was apparent.  Exploring my options and enjoying possibilities of  life were my only concerns. I had a free spirit and enjoyed never knowing where my next gig was coming from. After 4 years I married the man of my dreams in Vegas, on a whim, in the drive thru window at the little white chapel, with our dog in the backseat. We ordered our marriage off the menu. 4 years after we wed  I discovered I was pregnant.. during a promotion for Dos XX's, where I was a half naked Goddess, fully equip with hand maidens and servants who carried me into events on a throne. No better way to find out I was with child. It was completely unplanned and quite a shock even though I had always promised my husband when I turned 24 I'd have his child. Fate ran with it and knocked me up only a month after my 24th birthday. Who would have known having a baby would completely change your life. You hear that it'll never be the same again, but there's no amount of verbal warning that can really prepare you for the busy, sleepless, selfless days to come. Even now, I'm listening to my 9 month old wine as I type. With no reason other than the fact that she can. I miss my life a s a model. I miss planning shoots for the week or having time to put wardrobe together. Being able to do anything other than work and take care of a baby. It's a hard job. And I'm tired. Cant wait to get back to who I am. A model.

               Florida Education and Technology Convention 2010 for Brainchild.com

              
                This week I was blessed to work for an amazing company called Brainchild.com. They had done a great job of designing an awesome and eye catching booth. Complete with apple computers and Large flat scene televisions for demonstrations and presentations in which I was hired to do every hour on the hour! This is the first trade show in a long time that I had been nervous for. I was once again going to man the Mic, not only to draw a crowd, but to highlight Brainchild.com's easy online assessment and instruction program for teachers and administrators to help their students pass their states standardized testing. Of course, I had done hours of research at home, canvassing their website  and viewing their informative online demos. Upon arrival, I quickly asked the boss man to walk me through they key points and highlights. After reviewing with he and one of his amazing sales reps, as a sponge, I soaked it all in. Feeling totally confident in my presentation after about 10 minutes. After seeing the not so steady traffic of  attendees, we quickly realized that a structured time frame was just not possible in this particular venue. As the people would trickle into our "classroom" excited about their Free, yellow Brainchild T-shirts, I'd start my next presentation. Each one made me want more and more to enroll my son, so that he may get extra practice for his Florida FCAT's!
I have had the opportunity to work for them again at a show in Austin, Tx. the second week in Feb! I am so excited to work again for a company who not only enriches the lives of children all over the US, but who treats their employees with respect and great attitudes! I cant wait!Also,  Anna, a model who I met coincidentally at the same show 4 years ago, was also manning a booth! It was so nice to see her there! She was working hard promoting touch screens! Getting to play games and welcome attendees! She's truly remarkable! What a great time and a great show!
